Rioha artificial exoticleaves (Rio + rail) are designed to be fixed directly to directly to rafters spaced at a maximum of 40 cm apart using a patented system. These sheets offer two technical advantages an effective exterior roof in all weathers and a visible under-roof, a traditional aesthetic that is much appreciated in many tropical countries. This roofing concept provides exceptional resistance to the elements and strong winds, It is installed on a roof slope of at least 30° to ensure water-tightness. These artificial sheets are also available in a fire-retardant version to order, in version A (United States standards) corresponding to the European M1 standard.

The Rioha exotic palmleaf (Rio + rail) has exceptional technical characteristics, with its 50-year lifespan, 20-year guarantee and wind resistance. Its appearance is similar to that of a coconut or pandanusleaf.

Installation

• Screw fixing (20 mm), sheet with rail.
• On wood panels, plywood or sheet metal
• Minimum of 8 sheets per m² , i.e. an area of 12.5 cm
• Installed with rails on vertical rafters at 40 cm centres
• Staggered rows of leaves 2/1
• Overlap the first 2 rows for a thicker edge
• 2 first rows superimposed in the same rail to give thickness at the bottom of the roof
